I gave up New Year’s resolutions many many years ago because I was tired of being disappointed in myself and feeling shameful that I was living the same year over and over again.
I’d create these big goals for myself and then reality set in and those old, familiar patterns seemed to follow me into the new year, kind of like a shadow...

Here's the thing. Life is different since the pandemic, especially for moms with ADHD. It's easy to feel like the rest of the world has moved on but you're still trying to recover.
But, realistically, we can't expect to create something different for ourselves and our families in the new year if we're carrying the past year (or the past 3 years) into it.
