GUEST RESOURCES

Jessica Sturino Floyd worked in the physical therapy profession for 15 years before becoming a mother of 2 differently wired children. She gave up her career due to a lack of resources available for her autistic son.

During this time, she experienced the isolation and emotional struggle that many caregivers of children with disabilities experience, and discovered the importance of community. She became the Facilitator for the Wake County Chapter of the Autism Society of North Carolina to help improve the lives of autistic individuals, help support their families and educate communities.

Jessica is in the process of opening a Sensory Gym called We Rock the Spectrum in Raleigh NC to provide a fully inclusive and understanding space for our differently abled community to learn and grow together.
